Traditionally every year on January 6th, on the third most important Christian holiday, brave men get together by the sea and jump into the icy waters in order to catch the cross, the symbol of Christianity. It is believed that if a sick person enters the water on St. Jordan's Day, he or she will be cured. back

The State Hunting Farm "Sherba" in the village of Goren Chiflik was created in 1930 and is the first one in Bulgaria. Visitors are offered hunting, eco-tourism, photo-hunting, sport angling and visit to the sights in the Northern Black Sea region. back
