Held every year in early August. Participants are artists from Bulgaria and abroad - singers and performers on instruments like kaval, nag-pipe, tambura and gadulka string instruments. They perform authentic folklore from the Vaya and other ethnographic groups in Bulgaria. The programme includes a rich show of songs, dances and instrumental music. back

The Antique fortress on cape St. Atanas, entirely restored in 2013, is the most important early Christian complex researched so far, and comprises a three-naved, single apse basilica with a narthex, three christening rooms, a well for holy water, a dwelling for the chief priest, two kilns for ceramic objects and a winery. back
